Busy Day

Monday, July 23, 2012

Yesterday was one of those surprising days when you have nothing planned but then you find yourself on the go all day.

After my run I had planned on reading Insurgent (I would highly recommend the first book in the series Divergent!)  Instead, I got a text from a friend asking to come to Merrion Square for the Street Performance World Championship.  It's just a block away and it was a beautiful day so of course I joined her!  There were a ton of people out so it was almost impossible for me to see the performers but I still enjoyed it.

While I was out I got a text message from my roommate who had apparently spent the night in the hospital.  She's ok luckily but she still had a bag at the apartment and was leaving this morning for the US so I offered to bring it down to where she was staying.  I wasn't planning on staying for long but a few of us had seen The Dark Knight Rises the night before and we probably spent a solid hour discussing the movie / discussing how wonderful Tom Hardy is (even as Bane!).

I ended up staying there for a while enjoying some good company and her last night in Dublin! I can't believe how quickly time is going by... and now I'm down to one month left here!

I have a final on Friday so I think it's time I start considering taking out my notebook... it's just the first step in the process but it is an important step!
