This past weekend I got a visit from my wonderful friend, Inna!  She was in the same master's program with me in Dublin and once upon a time she appeared on this blog pretty regularly.  I picked her up at South Station on Saturday and we spent a few hours strolling around the Commons catching up on life.  This is definitely one of those friendships where, despite not having seen each other for almost two years, we were able to pick up right where we left off.

I've had this weird tiredness illness thing that I'll write about at another time, but between that and the general heat of Boston we decided to head back to Lowell.  We spent most of the day simply catching up and had a very nice dinner at Blue Taleh (I'm still working on your leftover pad thai, Inna!).

Sunday we spent most of the morning and early afternoon walking around downtown Lowell.  It's something I never do because it is always just there, but it was nice to take someone else around to show off the cute little coffee shops and stores.  The timing of this was great too since I'll be moving in just a couple of weeks and should take more advantage of the things around me while I can.

We capped the day off with lunch at Bahama Breeze and, being sufficiently stuffed, we head down to Boston and to the bus station.

It has been a busy few weeks and having gone from Austin, straight into a week of work, and then having a guest for the weekend has just wiped me out.  And of course all of this is just building up to the big move which I'm going to try to do mainly by myself over the next couple of weeks.  Hooray exhaustion!
